Now, you're stuck in the middle of no where with a dead cellphone, don't you wish you had a backup plan? Having an external battery pack on the go has been useful while learning a new place or having to stay in contact with someone until you arrive.
To charge all my devices, I use a larger Apple charger which can deliver at much higher currents than typical with a standard Apple charger. It also provides a full maximum charge speed when recharging the battery pack.
But, what if all of these things fail? A simple paper solution (like one of those map things) and a piece of paper with phone numbers or pertinent address information is definitely advised.
